The first part is an edgy and dark pair of shots. We’re returning for part two. We’re not sure which is our favorite.
While the light was focused on rays of sun and gold flecks, Dark had more drama and appeal. Both are beautiful and stylish. They are different for those who want something a bit (or much) distinct in their wedding décor.
Again, photographed with Abigail Steed Photography with the styling and art direction of an amazing team of Alex from Alex of Bijou Bride along with Erica from Mr & Mrs. Unique and the assistance of some amazing suppliers and vendors.
The shoot is packed with ideas for mixing metallics with dark shades (that copper bathtub! ) and bringing out bizarre color combinations, like flashes of red or pink with a predominantly purple and indigo backdrop and awe-inspiring floral design (floral hoops were the rage in 2017!) and elegant attire.
We are sure that the autumn and winter brides and grooms, or anyone looking to add an element of humor or romance to their wedding day, are likely to be hit hard by this.
Styling Tips for Professionals
Inky blues and deep indigos are awe-inspiring when combined with shimmering metallics. Details of gold and copper bring warmth and romance that make the look truly captivating.
Long tables are fast replacing round tables as the option for wedding meals that you choose. You are able to really get creative in your centerpieces when you work with this design.
Terrariums and silk runners can swoop across the table’s center or be arranged around the table’s edges. Hanging arrangements of flowers or different heights of candles can create ambiance and intimacy.
