I hope you are enjoying your time with loved ones and being treated (or getting treated)! Breakfast in bed, a bouquet, and a picnic in the living room are all great ideas. It’s too cold to go out in the park. ).
We thought that the weekend was a perfect opportunity to share an adorable proposal story with a romantic engagement photo shoot and a swoon-worthy collection of wedding dresses.
Sabrina Dahan, a designer of wedding dresses, creates beautiful gowns. She’s a bride-to-be with a passion for Paris.
It was only fitting that Aaron, her fiance, chose to propose to her in the city in which they first met and fell (and then again fell) in love.
They’d be returning to Paris for their totally chic and romantic Eiffel Tower engagement photo shoot with Katie Mitchell photography.
Scroll down to see their sweet love story. Check out Sabrina’s amazing jumpsuit. And swoon at some of our favorites from her stunning wedding collection.
How We Met
Aaron met me through a mutual friend in Paris seven years ago when he was doing a summer study abroad, and I was on a fashion internship.
After the summer, we both returned to Los Angeles and dated for several months. For whatever reason, it didn’t go well at that time.
We decided to take a Eurotrip together after about a year and a half apart. The same friend who introduced us had planned the trip. No Euro trip is complete without a visit to Paris!
We decided to give love another chance while in Paris for the second time. We fell in Paris, the most romantic place in the world. The rest is history. Since then, we have been together!
How He Asked
Paris is one of the cities that I hold dear, not only because I met my love there but also because many of my relatives live there. I’ve spent my summers here for years.
Aaron and I were unable to plan a vacation to Paris this summer because I was launching my bridal collection.
Aaron told me we were going to Aaron’s parent’s house for a surprise birthday party for his sister. We arrived at the house, and no one was there. There was French music playing, and in front of us was a path with rose petals and candles that led to the backyard.
A picnic was set up for two outside in front of an Eiffel Tower replica! Aaron took us to our special spot, and it was the sweetest and most beautiful moment of my entire life.
