Beautiful Italian Wedding with Rustic DIY Style

We knew as soon as we saw this Italian Wedding that we had to show it to you.

The styling, photography, and party look like they are having a lot of fun. (Although we loved everything! ).

The main reason why we had to share Ilaria’s and Emanuele’s Wedding is because this beautiful bride knows how to rock those specs!

We featured in a post last year on brides wearing glasses. After receiving so many wonderful messages, we realized that this unique wedding look deserves to be celebrated.

This bash, styled and captured by Sara Pozzoni from Princess Wedding with photography by Paola Coleoni, has many more ideas that can be borrowed than Ilaria’s chic wedding style.

This Wedding is rustic and sweet, which makes it different from the other Italian Weddings that we have featured. This couple’s Wedding is full of vintage details, creative elements, and gorgeous blooms. Their cool style inspires us, but we also swoon at the beauty of their big day.

Our Love Story

We first met at a birthday party for a mutual friend. Emanuele proposed on Ilaria’s birthday, her 28th.

Ilaria received a brand new computer with a funny home video proposal!

Our Wedding

It was a wonderful celebration and a great party.

It’s been a while since our Wedding, but we still remember it all.

The guests congratulated us on the attention to detail. The flawless planning and detailed design of Princess Wedding made us the sole protagonists of the event.

The Inspiration

The simple country style of our location was the inspiration for the mood.

The palette of colors included romantic pinks, nude paper elements, and amaranth in the flowers.

Favorite Moments

The ceremony was our favorite moment.

The day was perfect. Friends and family surrounded us, the church atmosphere was magical, and the flowers in the front made us glow.

Advice to other couples

We recommend that you make room in your budget for a wedding planner who is professional and experienced, like us. Also, we would suggest booking a videographer. It’s one of the most memorable things about the Wedding.

Decor & Details

Sara and Cristiano handled the art direction for the Wedding from Princess Wedding. They also created every detail of styling: the main materials used were wood, organic fabrics, and vintage props.

The wood carts were placed throughout the venue, along with country-inspired hay seats. An old Olivetti Typewriter was used as a Guest Book, and a corner was set aside for Polaroids. A vintage suitcase decorated with flowers served as the table plan.

The candy bar was decorated with paper tags, and the honey jars made by the Bose Community were personalized with our initials.

Honeymoon

We visited San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other Californian cities during our honeymoon.

After the tour, we enjoyed a relaxing four-day break in Playa del Carmen.
