Zachary and Jessica met when they were five.
They grew up together as childhood friends, they fell in love as teenagers, and then last year (to add the cherry on top of their fairytale story!), they got engaged at Disneyland.
Yep, this pair is pretty blooming and adorable! If you don’t believe us, check out their super-cute engagement shoot by Anita Martin Photography, which we featured last year.
And today, we are so excited and honored to get to share the next step in this wonderful couple’s love story.
Zachary and Jessica’s romantic wedding day, captured once again by Anita Martin Photography, was filled with beautiful blush details, a plethora of blooms, thoughtful DIY details, and perhaps the most amazing spread of cookies we’ve ever seen. (Over 1000!)
There are so many great ideas and gorgeous touches in this wedding that we know other brides and grooms will want to borrow!
So, the Pin It buttons are ready. Let’s all swoon over Zachary and Jessica’s dream day.
The Attire
We started the day off in matching bridal robes. Then, my bridesmaids wore a soft chiffon blush dress with a sweetheart neckline. Then, they had matching pearl-colored jewelry.
For my dress, I wanted something a little different but not too distant. I wore a pale, blush, laced trumpet gown. I added a belt for the extra “bling” factor. I then jazzed up my accessories for even more bling.
The Ceremony
Zachary and I have known each other since we were five. Because we grew up together, we wanted someone close to our hearts to marry us.
Our ceremony was really special because Zachary’s brother, Jason Feuerbach, married us. It was really personal and touching. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Also, Zachary’s sister read “These Hands” during the ceremony.
The Flowers
We had a TON of flowers! I really wanted a soft, rustic, and romantic feel. I was able to use a family friend who teaches high school students floral culture. She was incredible, and without her, I don’t know what I would have done.
Our flowers included cafe au lait, dahlias, hydrangeas, football mums, carnations, babies’ breath, dusty miller, and much more!
We had three different types of centerpieces and flowers scattered throughout the entire lodge.
Favourite Moments
I have two favorite moments. My first favorite moment was the entire ceremony. I had never been happier in my life.
The ceremony site at Forest House Lodge completely stole my breath away. When we exchanged our vows, I couldn’t help but lose it. That moment will forever stay with me.
My second favorite moment was when Zachary and I were able to let loose and party with everyone there.
Forest House Lodge does an incredible job at making people have a good time! We completely enjoyed our ENTIRE wedding, and it was totally stress-free! Not to mention, the bar area was a blast, and all of our guests totally enjoyed themselves.
The Photography
I chose Anita for photography because I LOVED how much emotion she captures.
You know that old corny saying, “A picture says 1,000 words.”? Yeah, I wanted that.
