Hello friends!
Hope you had a great Easter and were able to take a break from planning your wedding/work for a while. Did you have a chocoholic’s paradise at home?
Today, on Wedding Musings, we welcome Spring with a beautiful palette of sunshiny colors and open arms!
Sunshine Yellow & Powder blue
A real spring palette with a hint of preppy chic. Brings a little sunshine to your day, even when it is cloudy.
When used playfully, yellow is a vibrant color that works well with traditional wedding colors. Combining yellow and a powdery pale blue will soften your palette, adding a dreamy feel.
If you’re looking for something delicate, use hints instead of block colors. White flowers such as peonies and hydrangeas make a beautiful base. Add a splash of color with tiny flowers. You can use forget-me-nots, yellow ranunculus, and miniature daffodils. Or you can choose dancing or spray orchids.
– Mismatched china can look great, especially if it is matched to a theme. These make lovely favors that guests will love to take home.
– Carry the theme into your outfits. Why not choose a blue striped shirt or a ditsy pattern for your bridesmaids?
