A Tea Party in the Woods, Mad Hatter Wedding Inspiration

We’re late, we’re late, for a very important date.

Today’s wedding inspiration comes to you in the form of gorgeous woodland whimsy.

A Mad Hatter’s tea party inspired by all the fantastic happenings and pretty treasures from Alice in Wonderland.

With beautiful images by Modern Pixel Photography and impeccable styling by Amanda Douglas Events, this shoot brought together an incredible team of vendors to create something really special.

Stylish pink and mink bridesmaid dresses, an abundance of rich blooms, pretty paper goods, and some gorgeous hair ideas; this shoot is loaded with inspiration.

We’ll let Amanda Douglas tell you a bit more about how it all came together.

When Modern Pixel Photography came to me with the concept of this Mad Hatter-inspired shoot, I couldn’t get started on it quickly enough.

Being a huge romantic and infinite lover of fairy tales, I couldn’t imagine a better muse than the story of Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter Tea Party scene.

I knew from the beginning that the shoot had to be in the woods and very, very whimsical.

I started planning and decided I wanted the table to look like it had been abandoned in the woods. All the different cups, macaroons, flowers, mushrooms, stationery, tea party dishes, and silverware were growing out of the moss as if there was something special at this table as if it was a magical place.

From there, together with Modern Pixel Photography, we brought in all the different vendors to fill in and round off this full and lush shoot.

After months of planning, drawing, meeting, and brainstorming, we settled on a look that we think is not only beautiful but also brings a lot of inspiration to brides having garden parties and Victorian or woodland-style weddings.

In whatever we do, whether it’s a photo shoot or an event, we always want to bring inspiration to whoever gets to see our attention, and we couldn’t be happier with how this shoot turned out.

And if capturing it all on film wasn’t sweet enough, JP Media Works produced a breathtaking video to really bring life to this shoot.

Isn’t it just glorious? Those bridesmaid dresses are just stunning, and I love all the hair ideas and accessories.

And how pretty is the table decor? Moss and teacups would work as great centerpieces for a rustic country house wedding, perhaps paired with some vintage books.

Thanks so much to Modern Pixel Photography, JP Media Works, Amanda Douglas Events, and their awesome team of vendors for sharing this beautiful shoot with us.
