Finally, it’s here.

The time is here after all the Christmas shopping, wrapping, writing cards, decorating, wearing novelty jumpers, and drinking festive drinks with friends. It’s Christmas!

Before we go on holiday, we wanted to send you our best wishes and show you a love photo shoot in the snow.

We want to start by saying a huge thank you. Thank you, thank YOU!

It’s the time of year to take stock and look back on the past 12 months. Then, you can start making plans for the next 12. Elizabeth and I, (Hello Claire! It’s also a moment when we reflect on how lucky we are that we get to work in a field that is so inspiring, fun and awesome.

Thank you to all the wedding professionals who have shared their tips and advice, as well as their beautiful collections.

Your expertise and generosity is essential to our success.

You guys are awesome! It’s not just a pleasure to see your weddings, but it’s also a privilege. Your weddings give us and our readers insight, inspiration and that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when seeing a couple who is in love.

Your support and investment (who are all ahmayzing BTW) is not only greatly appreciated but also very encouraging. We get to have the most fun (on earth) and see our ideas come true.

Finally, we would like to thank our readers. Thank you to all of our readers, especially those who are creative, stylish, thoughtful and fabulous!

We will do our best to provide you with the most beautiful ideas and inspiration in 2016.

Now, let’s move on to the shoot. Maria Luise Bauer Photography from Stuttgart captured this amazing shot of Verena and Christian, a real-life couple, celebrating their love with their dogs on a snowy mountain near Innsbruck, Austria.

Let’s let Maria Luise take care of the rest…

The Photographer

Verena is worried that her dog Angel, the Husky, will not be around once they are married. She has dreamed of him appearing on her wedding pictures.

She said “yes” immediately when I asked if she and her husband would be my couple. We planned the shoot with each other.

We designed the invitations together, Verena wanted to wear a floral crown and we chose the dress together.

The shoot was on Hafelekar (2333m), which is near their home. Verena had her grandmother’s bridal shoes ready, but the snow was too much for them to handle.

Verena & Christian are an adorable couple. They are so sweet with each other and have the perfect family. Mocca, a Frenchie male, and Angel, a Husky male, complete their little family.
