The location is in Simi Valley, just Northeast of LA is the enchanting Hummingbird Nest Ranch; the Spanish-inspired villa is adorned with stunning, vibrant florals and sprawling grounds that are perfect for parties of all kinds, expansive views and rooms that are old-fashioned for amazing photos.
It was an ideal setting for Shaina and Shahab’s stunningly colorful and lavish celebration. A fashion designer by profession, Shaina imparted her enthusiasm for color, from the gorgeous florals to the wedding decorations, with the assistance from her wedding planner Bes,t Bridal.
And how gorgeous are the bridesmaids with hues of yellow ombre? Oh, our hearts are full of color! As fellow fans of all things sunny and bright, stylist Christina & I give you ladies a huge kudos for being so bold and beautiful.
Our Love Story
It all began when acquaintances thought joining forces with the same passion and admiration for the famed drinks Coca-Cola would be fun.
It was turned into a game of fun where they would text a photo of Shaina or Shahab to each other while drinking a drink. Shaina and Shahab would then argue over which Coke preferred the more! Obviously, Shaina had more Coke-related clothing and collectibles, articles, which is why she could win with a considerable margin, but Shahab was not going to let go that easily! His best option is to let go of his messaging app and message Shaina by himself to show his passion for Coke.
They didn’t realize that soon enough, their friendly fight turned into endless late-night conversations and endless laughter. Many bars and tons of cokes later…here now!
The Dress
My dress was designed and by Idan Cohen, an Israeli designer with his headquarters at Tel Aviv. The collection I chose to wear reflected my style the most as I walked by every dress on the display! I was looking for something sparkly and sparkling, precisely the kind of dress Idan has in his new collection!
Two dresses were the ones I was in love with, and I wanted to own one of them. that’s when the staff of Kinsley James informed me that Idan could also create custom dresses! At that point, I knew that he’d make my dress because, with him, I could create the most whimsical and magical gown of my dreams using my ideas and his dream into reality!
