Who says you must dress in white for your wedding? (Not us!) You may have noticed that we’ve been in awe of many vibrant wedding dresses recently, and this hand-dyed Leanne Marshall dress is the perfect “something blue”!
I was privileged to be a whirlwind in Leanne Marshall’s Studio in Manhattan wearing one of her blue raincloud wedding dresses a few years ago. And if it weren’t because my mom wasn’t present to shop – it would probably have returned with me. (However, I did put on another of her blue dresses during our wedding day). These dresses are designed to fly and float, making them the ideal attire for a windy desert celebration, as you can see this time at Nevada’s Red Rocks.
Photo taken by Elizabeth M Photography and adorned by a striking Roots Flowers & Events bouquet. The desert elopement theme is romantically beautiful. The aquamarine blue dress sparkles against the coral rock formations. (Hot tip: opposites in the wheel of color can create the best pop effect when you choose your bright dress and backgrounds). We’ll dream about blue dresses and desert winds for quite a while.

I’m a massive fan of the great outdoors, and as a creative person, I am at ease when immersed in nature’s beauty. But I also love a little glamour, and I believe that magic can happen when glamour is paired with nature. There is something unique about the beauty of red close to Las Vegas. This natural, beautiful, sophisticated, and jaw-dropping canyon is only 20 minutes from one the most populated and artificial cities in the United States. I wanted to show the beauty of a place that is easily accessible but is often omitted.
They are wild and bursting, stunning and lush. They offer the perfect colors to suit any season with hues of creme, red, creme, and blush,.
The stunning Leanne Marshall dress feels soft and flowing. The hand-died blues pop from the red rock formations and take in every breeze. This makes for a stunning look of motion and awe.
