We are a sucker for dramatic coastlines in the mist on the shores of Bridal Musings, and I’m from the Pacific Northwest myself ( our coast-loving PNW bride Christina is also from the Pacific Northwest!) I cannot help but savor the dreamy reminiscence of stormy Oregonian weddings, beaches with blackberries, and cliffside weddings between the Evergreens.
Today, we swap pine trees for green pastures and head to a cold, romantic wedding destination, which is Ireland. Atmospheric, romantic, and contemporary with style The Irish beach wedding theme is grabbing our heartfelt Northern girls.
Our admiration of Petal & Twine’s wedding editorial extends far beyond the stunning setting. White Cat Studio’s photos are full of creative and inspiring details that are trendy and reflect the “coastal” vibes.
What does it mean? Oysters decorated in Himalayan salt (my most-loved wedding food!) A bridal headpiece with pearls that is perfect for a sea-loving princess. A grey, misty cape for the bride that dances in the breeze of the ocean. Tapered candles set into volcanoes of the beach.
From Petal & Twine
Home, the sounds of the ocean. Once the sea has cast its spell, it keeps you in its web of wonder for eternity. The sea’s voice calls towards the heart. The ocean’s sweet touch encases our bodies in its gentle and close embrace.
In this editorial, we picked an elegant romance beach scene. The dress was loose and bohemian and swayed beautifully through the Atlantic breeze. The hair was kept, and the makeup minimal, with the slightest hint of coral-colored eyeshadows and blush. The bouquet fits the mood perfectly with the proper brown shades and a touch of coral to tie the whole look together.
We set up a natural setting to shoot some styled food photos. We used oysters and an excellent pinch of Himalayan salt to connect the theme of coral accents and highlight the sparkling silver in the oysters. For the sweets, we used cakes made of white chocolate with a touch of coral to tie the whole thing together.
The typeface we chose was different from the usual. We chose neutral shades of different colors of Perspex on glass for a flowing flow and blend in with the beach theme. Making use of glass to make them appear modern and elegant.
