New York City sophistication meets the beautiful Southern countryside in this stunning black tie wedding with personal touches.
On first look, it’s easy to think that this stunning wedding at a winery was held in France’s Countryside – with rolling vineyards, lush forest, and an elegant Burgundian type manor. Therefore, Burgundian-type or us for being pleasantly surprised to be gorgeous Chateau Elan winery. Chateau Elan is close to Atlanta, Georgia (a significant win for all the Southern & East Coast brides looking for a traditional Georgian wedding!)
Not only did Kelly & Ryan bring their own City glamour to the lavish estate, but they also added unique features. Of all the thoughtful touches that we love, the couple’s seating chart is filled with pictures of each guest, which willindeedy bring lots of laughter.

I was able to tell them the first could tell that her wedding that was bound to be gorgeous. Not only does she have impeccable style, but her blend of Southern background, New York City sophistication, and elegant simplicity come out clearly. Add her handsome and intelligent bridesmaid, Ryan, and you are having a celebration guaranteed to be unforgettable!
They had a black-tie wedding. Chateau Elan Wedding was an elegant blend of traditional elegance, fashionable gold accents, and a keen care for guests, flawlessly executed by the talented team at The Detailed The I Do’s.
It was crucial to Kelly & Ryan to create an unforgettable experience for their guests as almost everyone was traveling into the area for the wedding. To make sure they spent more quality time with each other, they held an evening cocktail hour before the ceremony on the portico over the lawn and welcomed guests from out of town with personalized welcome gifts.
The Ceremony
Kelly was wearing two wedding bands that framed her ring- one of which was placed on her finger with Ryan and the other one to be put on her finger by Ryan’s son, Tru. There was no smirk around the house when Tru appeared, and it was a fantastic illustration of how to include children in the wedding ceremony.
The Details
To celebrate their guests attending the wedding reception, they scoured for fun pictures of everyone that would follow, and printed their table numbers on the back of the photo. Find your photo to locate your table! This was accompanied by the signature drinks, a cozy lounge, and the jaw-dropping Monique Lhuillier outfit Kelly wore after their first dance. It was a celebration that guests will discuss for years to come!
