Elegant New England Farm Wedding

I’m an equal parts posh, city-dwelling fashion lady and give-me-a-pony-and-I’ll-break-it gal, so when weddings like this elegant farm wedding in Rhode Island (baby goats included) come our way, it’s a major yes, please!

One of the most appealing aspects that is a major draw for New England is the iconic farmhouse style, which is characterized by weathered wood shingles on the classic, basic “American style” house. These images take me back to the summertime when I escaped the city for a trip to the lobster-lovers paradise. Rhode Island is just that charming farmland, as well as lovely, luxurious seaside getaways. The ultimate destination for weddings, I’ll tell you.

Leslie and Mason enjoyed the luxuries of their farm location (cuddling cute goats to take photos, Oh!) while keeping their wedding elegant. With modern design and classic wedding décor and decor, this New England wedding photographed by Kir Tuban isn’t “rustic” but rather as fresh as the oysters that are afloat in the bay.

Leslie & Mason tied the wedding on the 16th of September on the 16th of September at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, Rhode Island. The couple was married in the gardens outside the farm’s home and then had their reception at the beautiful seaside-style barn!

Their celebration was focused on enjoying a simple celebration that reflected them as close friends, delicious food, and their families. They even held the newborn goats! They even got to have the baby goats! The live band was exclusively 80s rock, and the newlyweds were escorted away in a white vintage vehicle. I absolutely loved the wedding, because they are two amazing, genuine individuals.

The Photography

I’ve been friends with Leslie for ten years. We both competed in swimming throughout our lives, and she actually was my first recruit at Duke! In fact, she was my first recruit when I was just 17 years old. Being the youngest sister in my family, I was ecstatic to finally get to host a guest and be my own “big sis.” My Facebook page even has a page which is called “Leslie is coming to Duke.” We became fast friends, and she went on to attend Princeton, and it’s a good thing she did because that’s the place she met Mason.
