Intimate, Eucalyptus Filled, Destination Wedding in Italy

Imagine rolling vineyards in Tuscany with lots of wine and eucalyptus-matched olive green hues and an intimate gathering of your family and your closest friends. I do not know about you, but this sounds like the wedding I’ve always imagined. In addition, Franchesca and Tim’s Tuscan wedding is equally gorgeous.

Traveling across the globe from Australia together with their family and dearest with them, The couple got married in the most adorable Tuscan house. The choice of a venue with beautiful views of the countryside, but was also near enough to an airport in Florence, the guests enjoyed their travels taken care of.

Their journey was definitely worth it! A night at the vineyard was an endless supply of Chianti and a lovely Tuscan fair. The tables were adorned with stunning white roses and eucalyptus that smelled delicious. The planning of a wedding at a destination was easy.

Our Love Story

We met in Australia and then moved to the UK together in 2014.

In February of 2016, when we were on holiday in the Swiss Alpines, Tim and I were returning to the summit after having dinner. Tim stopped by a lamp post that overlooks the town. He then went down to his knees to inquire about the question. The rest is the story!

The Wedding

The wedding was exactly what we imagined to have – with our loved ones with good food, and we could unwind and relax our time over three whole days. We had a clear idea of an event at a location in France or Italy, and after a bit of research, we discovered the gorgeous Vistarenni. Vistarenni. The estate was not only beautiful, but it was not a distant distance from Florence (and also the airport of our choice), which was important to us, as our guests were coming from Australia.

We chose to keep it simple, elegant, and timeless with a touch of rustic white flower and wood and olive green. Because our wedding ceremony was symbolic of the couple, we asked our brother to serve as our master of ceremony. There were a lot of tearful tears (mostly from our bride!) throughout the evening, and there were plenty of drinks during the entire evening. The evening was perfect, and we couldn’t ask for more!

The Photography

When we chose the location, we looked on the internet and Instagram to find wedding photographers who were in the style we wanted. Alberto & Alessandra are perfect for the job!

They came up with a wonderful method of capturing the moments we were looking for – paying tribute to the gorgeous surroundings while focussing on the wedding couple. They did an amazing job!

Advice to Other Couples

Make it happen the way you’d like to! However, you must also set a budget that you can afford. Make a list of what you would like to put money into and attempt to negotiate a lower price. Most importantly, have fun at the moment!

The Honeymoon

The reality was that we didn’t go on an immediate honeymoon since our wedding was a celebration of international symmetry. However, about a month later, we made a four-day excursion to Santorini to unwind and live the lifestyle!
